About my family...
Oh my goodness!! What can I tell you about the Sitler family...

This family is amazing, crazy, happy, funny, stressed, relaxed, busy, connected, loving, strategizing--a lot of things, not necessarily all at the same time. We also love being a pastor's family. Most importantly we are a family that loves Jesus, tries hard to love and support each other, keeps focus to stay together, pray together and play together.

So, I always thought parenting a pre-schooler was busy, that was until we entered Parenting Young Adults 101--season of life. I love this season. My 18 year old, Nehemiah, has been working Christian camp all summer. From there he is taking a pre-college class before returning to the Christian Boarding High School where he will complete his senior year. He pops in and out of our life, mostly unannounced. This year will be full of dual enrollment, college visits, coaching him through school , church activities and "Life". I have been fortunate to be a stay-at-home mom for the most part so I am savoring every last moment.

That leaves Lover Husband, David, and me to re-invent our life sans kids as we begin prepping for the "empty nest". This summer we went on our first "in a long time" family vacation without kids. We had fun! We did adult stuff, had adult conversations, ran our own schedules, went where we wanted--well and texted a lot of photos to Nehemiah.

We are so amazed at all the trails God has led us up, down and around, how he has kept us together, breathed life into our marriage at stale times and brought us this far.
