My Faith Journaling Story

Dewdrop Prayer Journaling...Where art and worship meet Jesus.

Stale toast, cardboard,—exactly what my personal prayer life had  become.  Yeah, I did my devotions.  But, by 10:00 am, I’m pretty sure I would not have been able to tell you anything I had read or even thought about.

Then, Oxygen Challenge happened!  A whole week of creative prayer activities for the high school group we lead.  How could I challenge these kids, with my own prayer life, dry and tattered?

I began to pour out my heart to God, asking Him to breathe life into my devotional time.  That weekend, I spent the entire afternoon, online, praying and researching.  I found prayer notebooks, cards, systems and Bible Journals.

The next morning, I grabbed several pieces of scrapbooking paper I had around the house and wrote,  “My worship has been kinda flat lately.  I really want to find a place with you God. Please, help me.”

What was amazing, at the end of that month, was not the scrapbook, but what God had done within me.

Hey, girls, I would love to share this journey with you.  Go to the “Getting Started” page.
